Zucchini Bites


These zucchini bites are off the charts! You will not be able to stop eating them... at least I couldn't. :) They are perfectly crunchy on the outside and pairs great with a cool garlic sauce. Ragaliki (Rugelach)


I love this small sweet dessert. It works great with tea or coffee in the morning, or any dessert. In Russian we call them rogaliki… or in other words rugelachs. They are formed into a crescent shape by rolling a triangular shape of dough around a filling. You can fill them with anything you like (nutella, jam, poppy seed etc.). I filled mine with jam.  For me it’s so hard to find a good recipe for these because any that I tried don’t stay soft and get hard on the next day. Not with this recipe, they stay soft for several days and absolutely delicious. They are filled with a sweet jam and after they are baked sprinkle them with some powdered sugar. I think I ate all of them by myself. :) It can’t get any better than that. You’ll just need to put a little time into the dough part and the rest is a piece of cake. I love pizza any kind works for me. This flat bread pizza is off the charts. It works very well for a lunch time snack or even an appetizer to wow your guests for dinner. These crepes are amazing. I recently got the crepes recipe from my mother-in-law and I loved it. They are delicate and soft. The sweetness is perfect with a hint of vanilla. Brandy Raspberry Cake




Raspberry brandy cake, I am speechless. This cake is amazing. I made it for Easter and boy is it delicious, my family loved it. This cake is moist and has so many layers of flavor. The base is "biskvit" also known as Russian sponge cake, and it is soaked with a simple brandy syrup. In between the layers there are raspberries and a delicious cream. Tiramisu


This is one of my favorite cakes. I got this recipe from my mom and it is probably the best cake I have tasted yet. Tiramisu in Italian literally means "pick me up". This cake is a rich treat with the bold flavors of cocoa powder and the espresso with savory mascarpone cheese and a coffee liquor, layered with the lady finger biscuits. It is very easy to make and you'll have it done in no time. It doesn't need any baking, just make the cream and assemble. It is best when refrigerated over night. Juicy BBQ Ribs


These ribs are soo good and easy to make. All you need is a little
time and patience. We will bake these ribs in 2 different sauces.
First we will have a sweet garlicy sauce and then finish it off
with some sweet honey BBQ sauce. The honey BBQ is my favorite.

3 gallons of warm water
4 1/2 cups of sugar
1/2 cup of lemon juice
6 tsp of instant coffee
2 tbsp of сусла also called wort or malt (you can find it at the Russian store)

Pizza anyone? I love pizza, there are so many different
kinds out there. This is a margherita pizza. Its simple and
easy to make. An original margherita pizza is topped of with
a delicious marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, garlic,olive oil,
and some fresh basil. The pizza is then baked at a high temperature
for a couple of minutes to get a nice crispy crust. To my pizza 
I added some Italian sausage, bell pepper, and mushrooms.
It is delicious with lots of flavors. I hope you enjoy this recipe.

What you need:

Pre-made pizza dough
marinara sauce
mozzarella cheese
1/2 lb of fried Italian sausage
1 fresh tomatoes sliced
1 bell pepper sliced 
3 sliced mushrooms
2-3 tbsp olive oil

Shurpa is one of my favorites, something I grew up eating.
It is similar to a beef stew and is very simple to make with lots of flavors.
It is well known in central Asia. There's many different kind of shurpas,
this one is slow cooked so the meat and all the vegetables absorb all of 
the delicious flavors. 

Ingredients:

1-2 lbs of beef cubed
2 onions sliced
5 carrots julienne cut
6 potatoes peeled and cut into 4s
1 can tomato sauce
1/4 cup oil
7 cups of water
2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
2 tsp cumin
1 tsp seasoning salt
1/4 tsp onion powder
