Kvass
What you will need:
1 gallon of room temperature apple juice
3 gallons of warm water
4 1/2 cups of sugar
1/2 cup of lemon juice
6 tsp of instant coffee
2 tbsp of сусла also called wort or malt (you can find it at the Russian store)
2 tbsp yeast
Combine the sugar, coffee, and yeast.
In a big gallon add the apple juice and all of the water.
Make sure the mixture is about 105 degrees or luke warm.
The warm liquid will activate the dry yeast. Make sure
its not to hot because that will kill the yeast and it wont activate.
Add in the lemon juice and then add the сусла also called wort or malt.
Add in the dry ingredients. The sugar, coffee, and yeast.
Give it a good mix. Cover the bucket with a towel and
leave in a warm place for 12 hours. Do not leave it out
in room temperature longer than 12 hours it will get bad.
Then transfer all into bottles and place into fridge.
Let it cool and it is ready to enjoy.
