Memorial Day is coming up and this recipe is perfect for the holiday. These patties are made with pork meat and they are so juicy with great flavor. You will not be disappointed. You can cook them right away or make them a few days in advance and freeze them. Read on to learn how to make them. Enjoy!
What you need:
1 lb ground pork
1/2 medium onion, chopped
1-2 tbsp of parsley
1 tbsp of honey mustard
1 tbsp of low sodium soy sauce
pinch of salt and pepper
1 tsp of seasoning salt
1 tsp of oregano
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp of garlic powder
1/2 tsp of red pepper flakes
Start off by chopping up the onion and sauteing it for about 5 minutes or until lightly golden. Add in the meat, the onions, chopped parsley, honey mustard, soy sauce, and all of the seasonings. Mix until well incorporated.
Put plastic wrap or parchment paper over a plate or cutting board. Using a measuring cup, scoop out the meat and from into a ball, then flatten it out and make into the shape that you like.
Cover the patties with a plastic wrap and set into the fridge for about 15-20 minutes so they can rest for a bit. While waiting, start up your grill on high. Place the patties on the hot grill and grill them on each side for about 10 minutes. Don't press down on the meat so the juices don't come out. Towards the end, place cheese on top of patty. Top off your burger with anything that you like.
Thank you for stopping by. Enjoy!
